I threw Ultimate on the Nationals and had no problems. As long as you've got a guy that can load up on awards you should be fine.

I have put together a ton of Success Mode characters now, some of which I am using from helping DS, and now I am ready to put together a team. I haven't played Season Mode much and have yet to unlock the AT option yet. So I am going to take four or five of my Success characters and put them on a mid market team that could use the extra help. So my question is, which team do you think would best fit that? I know I have to win the division, and the WS, and win some post season awards. Toss me some ideas. |

Find Powner or some other type of A/A PWR/CON and replace someone on the Yankees. I got my AT in 2 seasons |

Take any guy with all A's from the password forum, or your own, and put them on the Yankees (the most talented team, not only in my biased opinion). The more All A guys the better. - Of course, only do this if your sole purpose is to unlock AT participation and restart with a new team. If you plan on completing the whole thing, pick the Devil Rays or Marlins, teams with microscopic payrolls and truckloads of talent, although not quite the aircraft-carrier fulls that the Yankees do. Don't put in too many high-salary, high-ability success guys. For fun and challenge, pick a team with a lot of young, cheap talent, and a decent amount of overpaid vets, and see what you can get in trades for the vets, while adding in success players to replace them. If you use the Yankees, you can dump Clemens, Pavano, Mussina, Abreu, Damon, Matsui, etc. and get value for them while slashing the payroll. |
