Detroit Tigers

2014 record: 105-57
Since 2012: 274-212
The Tigers have been a pretty good franchise since 2012. They have been spending plenty of money but it's paying off. Ace Justin Verlander (101 BA 2SLD 5DCB 4CHG 4SIFB) won the Cy Young award in 2014 and is looking for another one this year. 1B Prince Fielder (4BAEBCB) will likely hit 30+ homers this year to help the Tigers powerhouse offense. They still have superstar Miguel Cabrera (4AADCCD) as well. Young 1B/CF Jose Grisales (4ACBDFD) is hoping to have a grea season when the Tigers need a pinch-hit. They have 5 incredible outfielders in Delmon Young (2CBBCEC), Andrew McCutchen (2DBBBAC), Carlos Gomez (2BCBBAA), Sam Fuld (2EEBCAA), and Giancarlo Stanton (4CADDEC). As you can see, the Tigers have a very strong lineup and will go far into the play-offs.

I guess I'll just do the teams one at a time to avoid glitching.

Why do the Sox have 3 stud 1B, and the Tigers have 5 good OF, yet, you're spinning it as a good thing?

Minnesota Twins

2014 record: 76-86
Since 2012: 230-256
Since 2012, the Twins have stayed at about a .500 record. There isnt really much to mention on their pitching staff except for new closer, Scott Downs (91 BC 4CB 4SIFB). On offense, they still have star C Joe Mauer (2BBCAAA) and middle IF, Alexi Casilla (2BDBCBB). 3B Mark Reynolds (4FACBDD) would like to contribute to the Twins struggling offense with a 25 home run season. They have another slugger in LF Josh Willingham (3DADCED) and a speedster in Denard Span (2CDBBAB). Overall, the Twins are a pretty solid team. Add a starter, and the Twins could be a wiipnning record team.

Last I checked, the Brewers only had 25 players total. That was in mid-2013 though.

Cleveland Indians
Image
2014 record: 82-80
Since 2012: 213-273
The Indians have spent a lot of money lately which means they should be improving. Stud pitchers Felix Hernandez (98 BA 6HSLD 5CB 5CHG) and Tim Lincecum (96 CA 22SFB 5SLD 2DCB 5CHG 3SIFB) lead the defensive charge for the Indians. On the offense, the Tribe have Carlos Santana (4DBDBCC), SS Jason Kipnis (2CCBCCD), 3B Jack Hannahan (2DBCBCC), RF Matt Joyce (3DBCBCC), and CF Yoenis Cespedes (3AABBBB) who they acquire in a super trade last year with the Athletics. On paper, the Indians could beat pretty much any team. Unfortunately for the Indians, baseball is not played on paper.
