What button do you press, with the classic controller, to climb the outfield wall to rob home runs?

Right, I know how to do it with the wiimote/nunchuk scheme but I don't know which button to press on the classic controller. Anyone know?

Yeah, I use the classic controller, and there's some stuff I don't know how to do on it. It took me forever to figure out pressing R will throw the ball from the outfielder to the cutoff man.

I thought so too but Michael Cudyer climbed the wall against me and he doesn't have the ability. Luckily he didn't catch it or I'd have to buy a new TV and Wiimote after throwing it through my TV.

Those with Spider-Catch just handle the climb much better. It's incredibly hard and rare to catch a ball like that with a player with Spider-catch ability it appears to be virtually impossible to do it with a player without the ability. Maybe if the ball was hit slow enough in the right field with the offense back and a fast enough fielder a player may be able to get it. I've only done it once in my 1 1/2 seasons.

I JUST FIGURED IT OUT! :D To do the wall climb with the classic controller, you have to be up against the wall, running towards the wall, then press A.

I'll try something out on the ps2, I'm thinking it will be X on the ps2, but I'm not a huge fan of how they climb the wall, the CPU robbed me of a homerun and I got PO'd because he was standing on top of the wall.

I've posted this before but I had Milton climb the wall in success mode(with rookie's charm) and he saved a home run in the all star game. Pretty certain he did NOT have the spider catch ability.

it's the O button for PS2. from the top of the fence you can jump off with another button combo though i haven't successfully done that yet.

the manual reads:
for climbing the fence at stadium with a low fence - hold down the O button to get on top of the fence. at this point, press either the (square) button, (triangle) button, ox X button to jump from the fence

wall jump (at stadiums with a high fence) - use the wall to make a jumping catch
