I did my research on power pro kun pocket 10 the japanese version of the ds 1 thats coming out soon.Well look at this ad.

You can clearly see it has the wifi logo.

yes, the DS version already mentioned a "wifi" method to allow for 2-player mode

The japanese versions of the game have had online play for a while now, of course that only includes the japanese league based games.
