No way! I just bought the game in January/February..and I only play 2-3 times a week...so I'm about halfway thru my first season, and have craeted maybe 12-15 success mode characters...I still want to unlock arrange team, create my own team, and manage them for 10 seasons! Maybe its just cuz I bought my game so late, but I can wait for a while to get the new one...I have plenty left to do on the old. Between all the modes and possibilities of season mode, I can play this one for another 6 mos at least. |

I have a lot to do on my game as well but I probably won't get to many of them because the release is so soon. I too bought my game late but am going to continue to play it until the release of 2008. I'm just using 2007 as a stepping stool to be better at 2008. I want to be able to contribute to the new success mode strategies etc., so as soon as it comes out... Bye Bye 2007. |

I don't know. I have mixed feelings about this one. On one hand, I'm thrilled there's another one. On the other hand, even if there were compatible PW's it'd take days for me to get everyone over. I just hope I can get my custom teams done in time. |

I have a gut feeling that PWs wont be compatible so I'm trying to let go of the players I've grown attached to. I just feel like it's a waste of time to keep churning out new guys. |

The press release that was posted yesterday has a vague reference to importing your players - "MLB Power Pros 2008 will also support the option for players to import their Wii-based characters, Miis™, from their Wii or Wii Remote™ to become part of the exciting action!" It remains to be seen what exactly that particular line means. J-Gao, if there is PW compatibility, I'd hope that the above means there will be an "import" button in the 2008 game that will just read the 2007 players on your console into the game without having to manually enter passwords? Who knows though. I'm still excited about 2008, I think the main difference between this series and the typical EA or 2K Sports game is that with this series having a new version of the game doesn't render the previous year's version obsolete. Success Mode will be a completely different story line, so it isn't like I'll never play 2007 again once I have 2008. Unlike Madden where once you get "this year's version" you might as well throw "last year's version" in the trash. |

Nah, if you look at where the comma is placed, you can tell it's only referring to Mii's that you can import. Maybe I'll be wrong though; I'd be happy to be wrong in this case. |

I've played the 07 version at least once a day since the new version was announced. Too fun of a game to stop playing. |

I'll probably playing well after the '08 game is released. I never get games at the release date, and it'll take me at least a month to get '08 - my dad's big on waiting to see if the price went down. That's how I got this game, my first for the Wii (other than WiiSports). I had him look at games and there was a low price for this one. |

Hopefully if folks want to wait a bit they can buy '08 through the Amazon store I setup and the site will benefit for each sale. Of course you'll have to wait for them to ship it

It's released in July, right? Definitely not getting it for a month. Summer vacation, and I'm not bringing my Wii half away across the world the China where I'll be staying. |

I was buying some stuff on Amazon today and decided to take a look at the future Wii releases and saw nothing about PP '08. But it seemed to only be listing new games through early July, so I am starting to think this will be a late month release. |
