That's a great player! Making it like that in '07 is really hard to do.
Good job bard, it's halfway to impossible to pitch a perfect game
The story with me is that I never made it to the 5th with a no-no, and I didn't know I had a no hitter til the 9th and I did it, it was sorta ironic how I got mine only an hour or so after sjax got his first

by the time i got to the 9th inning, a wave of shock ran right through me.
The bottom of their order wasn't that bad either, with garret anderson as the #8 hitter.

ausmus = easy
kotchman/barajas = very hard for bottom of lineup.

Barajas only has E power I think

And once I threw a 1-hitter...the only hit was from the pitcher :oops:

If I recall, this Mets' team had Vernon Wells, Carlos Lee, and Jim Thome as 3rd-4th-5th. I just wanted to avoid being hammered by Thome, which happened a lot in the other games, and I ended up having a perfecto :mrgreen:

I do recall my lineup:

Michael Young SS
Alex 2B (created player based on a friend)
Rocco Baldelli RF
Mark DeRosa 3B
Chris Duncan LF
Luke Scott CF
Mark Grudzelanek 1B
Yadier Molina C
Gabriel P

I drafted a team with no A's, except for starting pitchers' stamina.

Gabriel is based on me, I like throwing sinkers, and I have a pretty good changeup, everything else is just to fit my preferences, like Gd Small Ball (I'm a firm believer in stealing bases and bunting), Groundball P (because Roy Halladay is my favorite active player) and Run Spd 8 (I can steal bases :mrgreen: , in fact, I stole one in that game)

Sorry if i misunderstood, but you can throw 97 mph in real life?

Ya he was on the Phils in '07 and he had C power there, I'm talking about '08 though, hes on the blue jays in '08
