I'm sure there are plenty of bugs in this game. One good one involves rundowns. Get into a rundown between second and third with another runner on first. Stay alive in the rundown and move the runner from first to second with the trapped runner trying to go back at the same time. When the fielder on second catches the ball the trail runner will be safe while the trapped runner will stop before reaching second looking at the base. The opposing player will just stand on second with the ball and the game will stop indefinitely until you move one of the runners off the base getting out. |

I've seen stat bugs, like hitting RBI #500 in a game but the next game he plays he's at 499 (in season mode) |

The announcer generally screws up about 70% of the time so.... ya. Seems to be the same for almost all baseball games though. They just can't get the announcer to say what actually happens. 'Stroked for a hit!' when it's a groundball to the first baseman... or a popup in foul territory. heh Also, friendship levels in season mode are completely broken as far as I'm concerned. |

It's best to turn the announcer off. It's more annoying than a Marvin hospital visit in Success Mode. |

yeah, i find the announcer humorous, not annoying. The Marvin stuff is, though - I'd rather have an Alvin card than a Marvin one. |

The best is the announcer saying "it's a ground ball" when it's actually an infield popup. Also, "first pitch, and it's a hit" only to go right at the fielder for an easy out. The reason why the commentator is bad is because the game is Japanese and they didn't want to reprogram the code for the commentator. So they just replaced all the Japanese phrases with an equivalent English phrase. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. If you read the manual it says you can turn on Japanese commentary but I have never found that option. Actually the manual pictures show an entirely different version of the game where pitcher velocities are listed in km/h. This was probably one of the biggest efforts they had to put in to localize the game as it actually took a lot of programming to change this to mph, especially in success mode. Personally I think they made it a little too hard and I never make pitchers that throw over 86mph as it's much easier to just upgrade breaking pitches instead. |

it seems like the pittsburgh pirates are located somewhere in NEW JERSEY on the U.S. map in season mode. |

I think HBP gets counted as a BB at least in exhibition mode. |
