Post subject:  20_Inning_Game
I was finishing up my season mode playing the Cardinals in game 2 of the NLCS. And i decided to put myself and the computer to (Lock-On 2 Batting. Well well the dam game went all the way into the 20th inning no runs scored by either teams. There was like 5 total hits in the game, and the game was a TIE. Personally thats my 1st time seeing that. The longest game i have ever played. :cry:

I think i went through 4 pitchers. And U know what the guy that started the game for the cardinals was a rookie, that lasted 14 innings WEW!!!

It's especially strange since when I play with lock on 2, the final score is usually 25-9 or something...

Haha wow, so it wasn't just replayed? I once saw a game as a closer in My Life in the 08 version that went 19 innings but unfortunately my team one in the bottom of the 19th. I wanted to see what would happen. I assumed that it was like success mode and if your tied in 9 innings its just automatically decided (in which you would always lose to the Champion Rings, which really pissed me off).

off topic: the champion rings game was always so hard. its not my fault the team cant hit and alvin cant pitch!!!
on topic: i've never gotten to a 20 inning game. that weird.

Rings game was easy if you were captain, unless you were down by alot in the last few innings

I run a fantasy league where I let people draft teams, I create them in create-a-team, and play them against each other in exhibition mode and record videos.

One game, with starters Pedro vs. Daisuke, went 20 innings.

So I started it again, editing rosters to take out players removed from the game, called it a "rain delay" and set all players to sad faces as the hitters had been when the first 20 innings had ended. Played again. 20 innings.

One team had no relievers left, so I edited Ken Griffey Jr. to have a 70 mph fastball with no movement, and minimal command and stamina. He struck out a batter and retired the side in the "top of the 41st".

Adam Eaton pitched the bottom of the 41st and gave up a walkoff hit in 0-1 victory.

Now I'm sure this had something to do with my friends messing with the settings when I'm not there and me forgetting to fix it (I think hitting was set to normal while everything else was all-star) but it was hilarious

In season mode, I also had one that I auto-ran between the Sox and the Seattle Mariners... Papelbon went 4 scoreless innings and it went to 20 innings then stopped and I was like "um wut"

i had this happen to me in the allstar game in 08 in mylife, and i only got 2 at-bats, and the game went on till the 20th, then it was a tie, then it started a new one :lol:
