I think there will be, but 2K Sports is in a tough position with it. On the one hand, releasing it in October like they did is terrible timing for a baseball game to come out (end of the season). So that's going to be a negative for sales. On the other hand, they don't want to release it in the spring because then they are competing with themselves (their MLB2K series). Their best bet might be to release MLB2K in the spring and MLBPP just after the All-Star break, with downloadable roster updates for once the 7/31 trade deadline passes.

Its too bad most people only care about realistic looking players and not deep story lines with the best replay value of any game i have ever played.

yeah your right. I think that this is an amazing game and that people dont even bother to try it out just by looking at the people on the cover.

Weird thing is, the cover turned me ON to the game. :lol: Anything MLB is worth a try.

The cover is what actually got me to try it. It seemed like a more detailed version of backyard baseball which I love.

That game used to be the bomb. When I was younger I used to have it on gameboy advanced because I could take it anywhere especially on vacation. And we all know how when we are young we don't like to lose at all, well I won the games 99-0 usually. I occasionally gave up one or two runs, but I had a blast doing it. That game just got easier and easier so my runs I scored went higher and higher.

I have lost one game total in all of my backyard sports games. I lost at baseball when I was on hard and it wouldn't let me throw so Marky Dubois hit a walk-off 2 run Inside the parker.
