What exactly is pr. Sense and how does one get it. Does it boost your starting attributes.

pr sense is just shortened for poor sense. Learning new skills and abilities will cost you more in training. They usually have good starting stats if you have this trait.

10% more to be exact and you most likely will get 2 trj, 4 con, 70 pwr, avg. of 6 run spd, fld, e res, and arm str in my experience.

I pulled a Good Sense Character yesterday that had 1 traj, g con, F power, e speed, e arm str, e fld, and f err res.

You can roll Good sense characters with superior stats and no negatives.

That's extremely rare. I have pulled one of those characters the entire time I have played. He turned out to be my best position player.(Cano)

Right, the consensus seems to be Poor Sense isn't cost-benificial, as the overall boost in costs eventually outweighs the initial boost in stats.

Unless you can get lucky with a random event to remove it, it may be better to re-roll a new guy.

:D It seems everyone disagrees with me, but I still have to point out that it depends on how you play success mode. I made my success player Ultimate from a pr sense/good stats start. He had pr sense the entire run through success mode and at the end he had all stats maxed out except power (still 189 - an A). On top of that he had around 19 or 20 abilities. I'm not an advocate for pr sense, but I do believe you should take good starting stats however you can get them. Unfortunately that usually means having pr sense tagged on, although thats not always the case.

If you do decide to go this route, then your level of success will be determined by the amount of gambling and reloading you do to get good results and favorable events. It can be done, and I feel this strategy makes the best players, but it requires a great deal of patience (and a little luck).

I don't save/load on most of my characters, thus Pr sense is devastating to any player I create.

If you gamble every turn, the higher cost may require a different setup before being able to gamble every turn and gain in 2 or more stats/abilities

Unless you can get rid of poor sense through an event, good sense is the way to go. Look at it this way. You start out with around 40 power normally and 70 power with poor sense. 10% of 70-180+ is more than the cost of 40-70. Along with other things like gambling makes good sense the better choice.

I think that's because you're presenting an entirely different argument. Whether you can still make a good player with Poor Sense isn't really the point. We know you can with enough gambles.

The point here is whether the initial stat boost is worth having to deal the high upgrade costs later on. I'm pretty sure it isn't. For example your Ultimate probably would have been even better (maybe a 230 or so power ) had he started out with Good Sense and normal starting stats. He's good, but he could have been better. That's what I mean when I say Poor Sense isn't worth the trouble.

You guys are probably right; it's hard for me to argue that I'm right and everyone else is wrong (because I appear to be the only one on this side of the argument).

I'm going to have to go with mrsims on this one. But my guys turn out as good as you guys, so maybe my opinion doesn't count. But my best character had pr sense and good starting stats - but obviously good sense and good stats would be better (how many retries did it take to get that?).

I think the pr sense with gd stats is better for the small scale stats and abilities (like on a scale of 15 - contact, trajectory, speed, etc.), while the reverse is better for stats like power, control, and stamina - ones that don't use much gambling.
