I was playing 2007 success mode and my pitcher got the gyroball ability. When I was pitching in-game I threw a mistake pitch and the pitch was basically a change up with a little bit of break. Has anyone ever noticed this? |

In '07, the Gyroball gives all 4 seamers a little bit of downward break. It's all on the wiki, you just have to read |

But on mistake pitches it looks like a four-seam fastball and then breaks down like a change up. |

That's because four seamers are given a slight downward break when you have Gyroball |

Yeah I have noticed that as well and it kinda makes me reluctant to get a gyroballer cause changes are easier to hit over the fence imo. |

They are but changes arent as easy to hit home runs on as meatballs. |
