Any info would be much appreciated. I know you get it by quitting your other job, but what positives and negatives are there?

The positives are, you make easy money doing little and it doesn't cost you much vitality. Bad news is, after about five or six jobs they tell you that they have no more errands for you to run and you lose the job.

I'm curious how you obtain different jobs? I know if you use a "No" card when the pizza parlor guy asks "Another day another dollar" you quit that job and pick up the home improvement job, but do you quit that and find another?

When I got the mob job, I had the pizza one first, and played a No card. I left that job and had a random event with the mob guys. I took the home improvement job first, but got fired for not showing up after being called in. After that when I went to find work it took me to the mob guys. They send you on a series of random errands to pick stuff up for them, and after about 5 or trips the guy in the black top hat tells you that you have done all the jobs they had, and that they don't need you anymore.

After that I got the job washing dishes for $80 a shot. I suppose I could have gotten the tutor job somehow, but am not sure how that plays out. I know that job eventually ends too.

tutoring is available only if you've gotten the highest score on the final (at least 3rd level bookworm (give/take a bit)). Then you decline the cafeteria/delivery job.

And yes, tutoring only lasts about 4-6 weeks depending on how often you go after it.

Tutoring is kind of a random event, too. Sometimes, even if you quit after getting a high score, you won't get it. If you're fortunate enough, right after you quit the pizza job, the lunch lady will offer it to you (make sure you have a Challenge card or at least a Yes card).

What are the perks of the Mob Job?

Doing the mob jobs usually only requires you to go and pick up an envelope somewhere. It was my experience that each trip took minimal vitality away, so you could earn $200 and not get tired really.

I haven't managed any special abilities from it so far, but I imagine that there is a random chance you might get one.

i have made like 30 success characters and have never run into the mob job...but if you quit pizza job and get fired from house work to get the mob job what happens when you are not needed anymore by the mob people?

what do you do for money?

I'm not sure what you do for money afterward, but for the record you can get the mob job immediately after quitting either the pizza deliveries or the cafeteria job (I can't remember which one it was because it happened awhile back). But you definitely don't need to have the maintenance job before the mob job.

It's completely random. If you quit the mob job, without being a high scorer on exams (which may lead to tutoring), the default job is cafeteria worker (dish washer) with a poor pay of $80.
