Has anyone beaten the Superstar Game?
I can't do it even with Physic Goggles (almost useless) and a Rookie Charm (Lock-On is the only way I can consistent hits and I can't field).

I realize that it must net a ton of points. Are there any extra weeks for practice or rewards?

How come I'm in my championship game of my second year and don't have a girl's number? Is it because I haven't finished the math problems and Bekcy is with Alvin?

How do become captain with Toby picking? None of the cards seem to work!?

I'm having problems with the superstars game myself. As far as the ladies are concerned though...if you choose yes at the "Pi Pi Pi" set event that takes place on Yr1,Wk1,Feb you will meet Sarah. Its my understanding that if you don't meet her here you'll never have another chance. From then on the computer seems to push the relationship because I've noticed in my test runs that on random event days you have about a 33% chance of a follow up meeting, so it shouldn't be too hard to get her going. (When you first meet her there's also a small chance you'll gain the Grt IF Htr ability!) Becky's relationship is a little more indirect; it seems that getting her to like you more happens a lot through set and random events. The best in my opinion is Anna. Your earliest chance at meeting her is Yr1,Wk4,Dec. It will happen at the END of the week, right before it rolls over to the next week. After meeting her its just a matter of studying to do her math problems and you've got her #, then a date at Christmas, then a Surprise Bag(in exchange for a $200 gift from Bison), and then, my friend, a Gambler Ring (if you're willing to save/reload).

Annie requires you to do both sets of problems to get her number...

So-

Random Event- Hit Annie 1st time, get problems
Do problems- get another set of problems
Do problems
Random Event- Hit Annie 2nd time, get number

I personally find getting Sarah is easiest to obtain, (Yes- to frat dork), while I have the most trouble with locking up Becky.

If you're at the 2nd championship then the Christmas coming up is your last. If you're wondering if you can get something started now with the ladies, I'm afraid you'll have to take another stab at it your next run through because its too late by this point.

The only time I was able to hook up with Becky for any reasonable amount of time was when I made a pitcher character. Apparently Becky's dad is fonder for them and approves of you more easily.

I was dating Becky with my Ultimate character. Her dad was completely pissed about it too, almost to the end of the game. :D

oops, oh well. I don't think I'll need it for my player.
I just want him to be an all-B bench player with a few abilities - nothing special. Tickets are fine for me. Captaincy is annoying though, my hitter rarely does well without my control.

Why is Power so much harder to increase?

Are you referring to Pwr having such a huge scale while the other stats only go up to 15? Are you taking advantage of hyper-recovery? I personally feel that other stats are more of a pain to level up. I like the fact that you only need strength points to increase your power, while other stats ask for 3 different categories.

Well, I made a character trying to get all B's, but power was the only one with a C. Maybe, it was because I didn't gamble well.

I'm better now. I have a guy with A power, B contact, and 4 TRJ, but his speed, arm strength, and fielding aren't any better than C. I got a gambling ring with him, it took me exactly one hour of save/loading to get it. It doesn't seem that great. I think it's overrated. Then again, I'm barely an A power, so maybe it was a factor.

Yes, I do use hyper recovery, but I always wait until it's all the way to the end and use a supplement. Is it better to use it more often but with lesser points?

I beat the superstar game yesterday 6-5. I had Alvin, so it was much easier. I had two inning with 3 runs each. I gave up 4 runs in the last two inning. Nerve-wracking! I used a Rookie Charm and Psychic Goggles. My guy (the B's and C guy) hit a double and had 3 RBI. It just gives you more points. No extra weeks or anything like that.

The conversation went something like:
The big leaguers went easy on us to show us to have fun in the majors, blah blah blah.

i always got rookie charm i might need to use psycho googles by best pitcher i created was B control and stamina my speed was low

I was never able to beat them w/o the goggles.
Even if you only pitch, you'll know what not to throw. They're generally very accurate, too.

If you are a captain, they are even more beneficial.
