Do they reduce the amount of experience you get ? (assuming you get the exact same stats w/ w/o them)

What about using Willy? Does it reduce exp. points?

I know using a challenge card to have Willy play for the opposing team will net you more experience then if he plays for your team, but how that compares to not having Willy at all I'm not sure.

Yes, and since it also absorbs many Random Event slots, you don't get a lot of time to get something else.

Really? I wonder how much it decreases by; I've had Willy throw a complete game shutout with 15Ks and still get 100exp on a couple things because I didn't have the rookie charm.

I'm sure if you did the same with a non-willy-ed player, you'd probably get 50%-100% more.
