How can you unlock abilities in bats because everytime i buy a bat it doesnt have the potentiol thing on it ??/

Your bookworm level has to be at a certain level. I think it is 3 that is needed to unlock the abilities.

Yep, and if you buy a bat there's a gauge on if the ability can be unlocked. The Ability is usually unlocked by just using the bat...
