On Sunday I created my 13th Success mode player, a reliever. Last night I was bored, and the Red Sox were losing, so I turned on the game, and tried to load Home Run mode, to hit some homers with one of my created players. Suddenly, all that was there to choose from was the one guy I created on Sunday. I went into Success Mode, and went to View/Delete Created Players, and the previous 12 players are all gone. Only the one I finished off on Sunday is there. I haven't loaded any other CD or anything into my Wii...I only play infrequently. I don't have a memory card, just the Wii system memory...has anyone seen something like this before? |

It sounds like you got a bug. When you load success mode, sometimes (this unfortunately happened to me, but I was spared deletion) it says something like the data is corrupted. If you answer one selection (forgot which), all your players are deleted ![]() |

Yeah, happened to me a long whiles back. Back then, all I could say was "$#%^@#" and "thank god for passwords" I believe the option that has "delete" in it is the one you should avoid at all costs. I think the "B" button will work, as well as choosing "continue without saving" - then cancel out, and it'll be back to normal. But the most idiot-proof way would be to just restart the system. |

Yes this has happened many times to me, and sometimes almost gives me a heart attack when I'm reloading real fast and not paying attention. But just continue without save and then press B to go back and load it up again and it should be back to normal. One time I wasn't paying attention and deleted it accidentally, but I'm pretty sure I only lost the guy I was working on. (I can't remember if I had someone saved at that time) |

I'm usually in the crowd who thinks the entire password system is outdated, but this is one instance where passwords are actually helpful. |

Especially since there is no other means of backing up that data off the console. I'm hoping for the 2008 version Wii owners will be able to backup their game data to SD card like we can with most games. |
