Yes, I can't stand the AI fielding. I have so much more control without the Charm, and actually prefer NOT to have it. I'd rather blame myself for losing a game than blame the stupid AI for it... I suppose it's pride... or ego.

Do you recommend taking up the captain armband in Yr3?
Will it be easier or harder to beat the match?

I'm not a huge fan of being the captain. It depends on who else is on the team. Alvin seems to make the rest of the players better. I think I had Marvin be the captain one year, but I don't recall how that worked.
