| Post subject: | Earliest gambling ring |
What is the earliest date I should try reloading to get (cleaning Marvin's room) or the (Shady accessory store) in order to get a gambling ring? I keep reloading on Feb 1 first year and have seen the (clean room) scene only twice in two hours and they sure did't give me the ring. Is there a date that these things are more likely to show up. I just want one in the first year sometime and don't want to spend two days reloading. Anyone have better luck?? |

I've gotten the surprise bag from the room cleaning right after Nov. Wk4 Yr1 and re-loaded for the ring. |

Same here, got the surprise bag from room cleaning in Nov year 1. That was my first go on Cy Young, and my 9 year old promptly deleted him to work on his own Success Mode character since I wasn't too far into the game yet. Ouch! |

You guys are lucky! I have tried restarting on Nov 4 yr 1 literally about 50 times (about 3 hrs while watching tv) and got that scene only once! (no ring). I even reset a few times and tried changing the things I did up to Nov 4 (workout, study etc.) to see if that had an effect on the randomness of that scene appearing and still nothing. (Motivation decreased) (Vitality decreased) (Gained Pr Sense)  lol

-lol- He's 9 and doesn't have the patience for the fine details of the save/reload gambling strategy, so his players aren't up to what gets posted on here. But he has fun with it and doesn't do a half bad job of getting guys through to minor league contracts
