did anybody notice that peter is on the team when you join but is still on the team in the third year? are there any possible explanations for this? i'd assume most people wouldnt see this except for whne you go through the long mode (not shortcut) the first time and peter welcomes you to the team along with robbie and toby.

Yeah I've noticed it. Same with Milton. If you check friend data in the first year it says he's a first year player. Guess they just arrived early.

oh thats weird too because the way the game was designed it makes it seem like peter and milton have been there awhile and are welcoming you to the team

Peter and Milton introduce themselves because they are fellow freshmen; not because they are welcoming you to the team, like Robbie is. Read the text closely and you'll see Robbie refer to them as freshmen.

I wish I could make a guy who looked like him. His jaw is quite prominent.

It houses the biggest mouth in the game. One I'd love to smack around a few times

I checked his abilities, unsuprisingly, the only pitching abilities he has are red ones - vs runner 2, poise 2, hothead, and flyball p. I'm going to make a Toby, but I'll make him good. I don't know how to get those red abilities, though.

Don't forget (which you may have if you always use shortcut mode), you and Marvin arrive late to sign up with the team, only Alvin arrives later than you two. So Peter and Milton would have already been there hanging around doing the meet and greet before you showed up

ah, yes. Do any of the players other than Alvin and Patrick have last names? I was thinking about creating some of them, but then realized I didn't know the names, the stances would be a pain to get (especially Alvin's delivery), and the appearances are impossible to reproduce.

I'm pretty sure Alvin's delivery is available in the shop. It's one of the unnamed "standard" pitching motions, kind of a Hideo Nomo looking thing. I'll have to see if I can find it again. I've bought everything in the shop, which makes it a little more interesting making players since it gives a wide selection of stances and deliveries.

Not sure on the last names though. I think Peter says his last name when you meet him (non-shortcut mode), but I'm not sure about any of the others.

Okay, I was just starting a new Success Mode player (Bob Gibson) and found the following by leaving shortcut mode off:

* Boris Milton
* Alvin Lockhart (of course)
