how many dates do you need to go on to complete any of the girls arcs? I have dated annie every xmas and valentines and like the whole last spring but still nothing

annie should be the easiest, but it still takes about 5 non-holiday dates to get any girl. And the dates should be relatively close, i.e. september, october, december, january, february - those months should get you to at be special people/married - and maybe a few more dates. date when vitality is low, as there are two positives - 1. you wont get injured or fall asleep dating, and 2. some dates will have you recover vitality. Annie is the easiest because doing all of her study problems should get you around 3-4 more hearts.

Arcs only conclude after you successfully get a minor league deal at the end of Year 3.

There are "checkpoints" for each lady that you want to make sure happen by the completion of the game. I haven't done Sarah before, but have successfully gone through Annie and Becky.

Annie:
Meet her.
*Do first homework.
*Do second homework.
*Get number.
*Once around 6 hearts (or something) - she comes and drops off a random item in your bag
*You slip and fall, head to the hospital, she gives you number - yes or challenge card needed - challenge is best as it will give you baserunning 4
*Gives you problem stack
*Collects problem stack
* This one puzzles me, as I don't always get it - but sometimes - gives you Annie's Final Paper - some ability - I think Push Hitter or Spin 4

Becky:
*Meet her in cafeteria, and give lipstick
*All events around time she becomes assistant manager
*You must become captain in year 2 (challenge card)
*Alvin dumps her
*She offers her number (need challenge or yes card)
*After a few dates - she meets you at baseball field and gives you autographed ball (gives you Groundball P)- offers to marry you (challenge card is necessary if you want intimidator ability)

Something else that I didn't find out until I'd been playing for months - if you get the Psychic Goggles, in addition to the benefit in games (which I didn't care about so I rarely obtained them) having them also adds a "Likability" section to your data screen (where you normally have player data, friend data, and eval). There you can see exactly what your progress is with your ladies.
