there seems to be an item to increase all stats except arm strength

has anyone found a way to increase arm strength using an item?

does that maybe have to do wrist bands? just thinking

That would be interesting. However, if it did, it would probably cost more than $2. If you got all of them? Maybe we're on to something. But probably not.

do wrist bands have any purpose? or are they just cosmetic?

They appear to be all cosmetic... unless someone unlocks the "magic pitching/batting wristband". Well, at least, since it's cheap, it' seems meaningless.
