I realize that 99.9% of everyone here quits without saving upon landing in the hospital, but I am wondering if perhaps some random events that still happen while you are on the mend change slightly? I have been visited randomly by the dad in the hospital before, and not after a job gain/loss. Anyone have any other odd random events while in the hospital?

I know Marvin gives you the Gundam robots right away, which increase your chance of drawing a Marvin card... and sometimes Mark visits with cards from everyone wishing you well. You confront him about how much he enjoys it, and he blows you off - but you know he really loves it. Sappy moment.

I think I will add Gundam robots to the Wiki now. I've had some other random things happen, when i convinced my girlfriend to do that one extra practice and she ended up in the hospital for three weeks...I'll fool around with it over the weekend and see what I find.

I want to punch Mark and Marvin every time they come into the hospital to visit me, I just want to quit, dammit! Don't make me listen to your diatribe for the 100th time in a row

I know that the first time you practice after getting out of the hospital you talk with peter and he tells you to take it easy and you might get mentality points. I don't remember exactly.

Another one I've had is getting hurt right before Valentine's Day and having Becky come to visit in the hospital. You still get the "Becky likes you more" and "your ladies man skill goes up" from it too. However, yeah ... I ain't saving there either

I know that if you miss the finals while you're in the hospital Marvin visits and tells you you're about to be expelled. If you don't study on your first time out of the hospital its game over.

That is why I picked this name for the board. I have come to loathe Marvin and his "card". The only time it ever does me any good is when I am at work or want to pawn him off on the insurance guy for the stats boost.

What good does Marvin do at work?

All he does for me is get me a pay cut by yapping.

But one thing I've his card well for is when I had only Yes cards and challenges for Bison's bat. So before each game, I'd use a Marvin card the Willy would possess a teammate, obviously making them better.

When your boss talks to you, play a marvin card and you will get more money that time at work.

Also a chance of Gd Small Ball.
