Granted I don't think these shoes are that great if you're a Gambler (they only save two turns gambling for velocity; +6 stamina is worth more turns at higher stat levels), but they do seem to be extremely rare.

Is there a pattern for getting them? Are there other items that if you're lucky will offer higher stat boosts than normal?

I've never encountered this. Accelerator soles always add 1mph for me.

Is the cost different? I always get the +2 mph ones. They cost $250 or $225 depending on your moneyman level.

I've also gotten a Heavy Weight and Ace Stud that give you +2 mph instead of +1.

In my latest run making a pitcher, I got the 2 mph accelerator soles.

Doesn't heavyweight usually give +2, and then -5?

Is this affected by luck or something?
