I agree that missing the first game isn't critical.

My point on Friday was that Wyl's post is very helpful for starting a "good" player, but the fact that it is in a thread about making the roster the first year makes it kind of hard to find. So maybe it would be good to summarize it along with some other points and put it into a more aptly named thread - or perhaps a sticky - if others think it is also a good idea.

Anyone else think this is worth it?
