I've created my best player so far. He has won almost every game for me, including a year 2 game winning grand slam (we were behind by three runs and there were two outs) and year 3 tournament game winning grandslam in the ninth with no outs. I was playing a game against the champion rings in which the score was 5-4 (Rings ahead) with peter at bat. My played batted third, so I was obviously worried. I ended up getting a run in that inning, and then the rings of course got another. Basically, I ended up getting the game winning 2-run homer with my player. But what was even more amazing was that when Brad came up, the announcer said that Brad needs a home-run to get the cycle. And he did, as I won the game 8-6!
I didn't know it was possible for anyone else to get a home run let alone a triple with their terrible speed.
Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them?

I've never had a player go for the cycle in Success Mode (a few times in Season Mode), but I do get the occasional homer from Mark, Brad, and Alvin. I've also had Peter and Rex hit one each.

A bigger shock was one time I had one of the random generic named first basemen hit one out. Not the game winner or anything, but shocking just the same

I find it almost impossible to hit a triple with the Rookie Charm because the guys always stop early. Only a created player with good speed has ever done it for me.

Brad isn't too bad a player at all. He can hit and play good D. He hit two homers in one inning for me once and I run ruled the World Gatherings.

Yeah like Wyl I've hit a few homers with a few people.

The best was hitting a come from behind homer in my first Success Mode when I was captain and had a terrible player; I hit the home run with a generic SS with F on contact and power, talk about shocking.

Yeah, Brads always been my favorite player. In my opinion, next to Alvin (who I now have on my team for the first time in 10 tries!) he is the best player and his script is still hilarious each time I play.
I've only got 1 triple and that was with my player. I was really pissed because I had the rookie charm and my player could have got an inside the park homerun due to an error. Thats what made me sell it for most of my players.
