I've been meaning to make this for a while, but the chat discussion reminded me to create this.

Tier A: Rodgers, Brady, Luck, Brees, Good Manning
Your elite HOF type QB's. No way you're ever passing these guys up.

Tier B: Rivers, Roethlisberger, Romo, Ryan, Stafford, Wilson, Newton
Your above average QB's. You're happy with production and probably not looking for an upgrade.

Tier C: Flacco, Cutler, Dream-Crushing Manning, Kaepernick, Tannehill, Foles, Dalton
Your average QB's. You might want to get a new one, but won't due to scarcity or loyalty.

Tier D: Bridgewater, Bortles, Carr, Manziel, Palmer, Smith, Mettenberger
Your below average QB's. Includes the rookies and two game managers that should be replaced.

Tier E: Griffin III, Smith, Manuel, Hill, Glennon, Fitzpatrick
Your horrible QB's. Basically dumpster fires that should be removed immediately.

Yes, thanks for making this. I thought we should have an organized thread on this rather than a messy comment debate

I did my best to rink within tiers as well:

1st (elite): Brady, Rodgers, Manning, Brees
2nd (very good): Roethlisberger, Romo, Luck, Wilson, Rivers, Ryan
3rd (biggest group; above average to average): Newton, Flacco, Eli, Kaepernick, Palmer, Cutler, A. Smith, Stafford, Tannehill, Foles, Bridgewater, Dalton
4th (mediocre): Fitzpatrick, Griffin III, Hill, Mettenberger
5th (bad): Carr, Hoyer, G. Smith, Locker, McCown, Bortles, Manziel

I feel like if you're going to rate new rookie QBs at least wait until they have had 2 seasons of experience. Not many of them are going to come out and put up spectacular numbers, this is just my opinion. Other than that I feel like this is pretty accurate.

That's why I just clumped them all together in below average. Because (except for maybe Teddy) they were all below average last year.

Which one is dream-crushing Manning? Peyton in the playoffs or Eli whenever he throws a pass? But seriously, Peyton is no longer a top tier QB. His numbers were WAY off from last season. Heck, he threw more interceptions than ELI!!!!!! He may be a Hall Of Famer but he is no longer one of the best in the game today.

That's moreso because of his injury late this season than anything.

I agree with the tiers, but my mom would probably put Stafford in the "bad" category.
