Since my parents and I are leaving early tomorrow morning for Indiana, we opened presents this afternoon. I got most of the things I wanted:

- $25 gift cards to Chipotle, Chili's/Macaroni Grill/On the Border (I think), Texas Land & Cattle, Cheesecake Factory
- A bunch of chocolate (I thought you guys wanted me to lose weight??? )
- Scratch-offs, from which I won $14
- Beats Solo 2, black
- 2 new basketball scorebooks
- 3 packs of my favorite gum
- Another year of phone service, and possibly getting to upgrade from my iPhone 4S to my dad's seldom-used iPhone 5 (maybe. not sure I even want to take that upgrade, because I like my 4S)
- Also, my dad's going to look for a car sometime next year, and whenever he buys a new one, I'm going to get his old car; all I have to do is take care of it and put gas in it (and also pay for any repairs but we know THAT won't happen), he's paying for maintenance
- Maybe some other stuff? I don't remember even though we literally just got done opening them

So, uh, what'd you guys get? (Feel free to, you know, wait until whenever you actually get presents)

Last weekend at my dad's side Christmas, I got a $25 iTunes gift card and a 12 pack of Nike golf balls.

Uhh, for my birthday I got a PS4 controller, a MSU hoodie, and 100 dollars. Does that count?

Can you help explain what exactly makes those huge headphones desireable? It's weird because we used to have to listen thru big headphones when I was a kid, before technology made them better...now I only use big soundproofing headphones when recording in the studio (or I guess those noise-cancelling ones when flying). But it seems like there's a huge renewal in the desire to have a 5-pound, unwieldy pair of headphones on, even when doing things that kind of prohibit them (stupidest I've seen is, while driving. holy hell)

I'm a pretty extreme audiophile but I can't imagine dropping $300 on a big set of headphones...I'll do surround sound and component subwoofers and all that for a serious house system, but just can't figure out the appeal here.

Pretty happy, especially with the sweatpants cuz that's my preferred type of pant.

I think I made out pretty well. Plus I still go to my Dad's on Saturday.

I got:
- Tickets to 14 White Sox games.
- Tickets to 7 Indians games.
- Tickets to Ariana Grande's concert in Milwaukee on 2/28 (Ariana is my bae)
- Earbuds for basketball warmups.
- Fall Out Boy shirt and a Panic! At The Disco snapback (my two favorite bands).
- Platoon (my favorite movie of all time, I even have a quote in my sig) on Blu-Ray.

Hey, if you listen to her album, she is pretty good. Her voice is really good too. Bang Bang was her worst, because she only had 10 seconds in that song.
