I see a space at the top where there should be a chat button, but it's not there. I'll try updating Java first and edit this post to see if it's still there.

No need to update Java, it's not using Java (Javascript is different, just happens to share a similar name)

I like the chat box, but I'm not a fan of it being on the portal and board index page. Having the separate chat link at the top is good enough
