I was 12 for football last year, and was happy with that. But football isn't my thang ya know.

15 is preferred, 10 and 9 were my actual numbers for baseball this year.

I'm number 11 for Yu Darvish, but 18 and 79 are my next choices.

I like the number 34. It's been my favorite number ever since I was but a toddler, since that's the channel on the TV that Sesame Street was on. Even though I don't watch it anymore (or even get the channel I watched it on), it's been my favorite number.

I'm number 5, it kinda just stuck when I was like, 8, and I've used it on a baseball jersey every year since.

I wanted to be 9 for baseball, but that wasn't an option. So now I'll probably stick with 6 because I don't like to change my number once I get it. :) I guess I just get used to it and it grows on me.

Except for 2 years ago when I missed jersey handouts for baseball and got number 35. Wasn't happy. I guess I was fine with it later in the year though, because our whole team got crappy numbers.

/rant incoming tldr alert

The way it works in the little league system for our school is that the youngest team, which is 3-4 grade, gets numbers 1-however many players the have. I think there were 14 on their team 2 years ago, so we'll use that number. So grades 3-4 got numbers 1-14, which contained the numbers a lot of the older kids wanted. They said we were allowed to trade with the younger groups, but nobody could fit into those things. so then, grades 5-6 got numbers 15-27 because they had 13 kids. And the. My group at that time, grades 7-8, got numbers 28-38 because there were 11 on our team. Which left the oldest group with the worst options. I don't know why the heck they can't just have kids from each team pick their own numbers. It doesn't make sense that an 8th grader can't have the same number as a 3rd grader. Yes, the team name is the same, but there in an entirely different age division! It just didn't make sense to me. Anyway, that is how I got stuck with number 35 my 8th grade year of baseball, thank you for joining in on that small rant.

I was #14 for baseball last year, it's usually what I go for, but my backup options are #11, #7, and #4.
