Exactly!

I'm not implying that the different of the roster matters, it's just their inconsistency in the past two septembers.

Well you can't really expect consistency because their roster hasn't been consistent. They've had different rosters so you can't really expect the same result. 2012 they weren't even near the playoffs.

Yep, you're definitely right on that part.

I guess it's just my eternal hatred of the Red Sox, but, they're locked in for the playoffs.

Addressing the actual question, no, I don't think they make the playoffs. The Rays/Red Sox likely have the first WC spot down. That leaves Baltimore, Cleveland, Texas/Oakland, and of course, Kansas City fighting over the last spot. And I don't think the Royals can pass all of them

Yankees?
