For those who haven't heard of this game, watch this trailer.


So, this game is called The Last Guardian, and was announced at E3 in 2009 for PS3, four years ago. It was being created by Team Ico, the same people behind Shadow of the Colossus. Since then, updates on the game have been few and far between, causing people to believe that the game had been cancelled. But this week, the official E3 website briefly listed that this game would appear this year, giving fans such as PPFan and I a sliver of hope. Sadly, the game was taken off the list, and Sony said that the listing was "pure speculation".

Blah, blah, long story short, if you had a PS3, would you buy this game?

Yes.

Well, the trailer doesn't really show much of the gameplay, so I don't really know what playing it would be like. But given Shadow of the Colossus, the game will probably make me best friends with that chicken-dog thing, send us on all sorts of crazy adventures, slowly make me question the morality of what I'm doing, and eventually kill off my friend in the saddest moment of my life. No, wait, it'll probably make ME kill it, won't it? Team Ico just makes really sad games.
