So, I stumbled upon an article today, where Keith Law ranked the farm systems of every team from 1-30. So, I want you guys to try and guess who has the best and worst farm system, and then where you think your favorite team is ranked, because why not?

I think that, not biased, the A's have the best farm system, and the Yankees have the worst.

That awkward moment when the Yankees are 12 spots higher than the A's...

Best farm system, IMO, might be the Cardinals. They've got some good young players they're developing right now, such as Oscar Tavarez (or whatever his last name is), and the worst farm system is the Tigers. They don't have a lot of Wil Myers or Jurickson Profar-esque prospects, and the only ones that come close are Nick Castellanos and Avisail Garcia. That's it.

Some would argue the Phillies probably have the worst. I'd probably agree with Law in that the Cards and Rays are up there - you always see more talent coming up and filling in spots, more pitching-wise for the Rays. I would say the Rangers are among the top, too.

Things are looking up for the lower teams like the Twins, O's, Mariners, Astros, etc. though.

Dish, the Cards are the best, but the Tigers are only 25th

And phillies, did you read the article?

Well, I kinda had a feeling they'd be ranked near the bottom. I was probably a bit harsh with that. The Tigers do have some prospects other than Castellanos and Garcia, but they're just young and unproven (Austin Schotts, Steven Moya, and other people you've not heard of).

Brewers have gotta be down there...

I was gonna say Rays as the best, but Cardinals doesn't really surprise me.

Could you paste the list here please?

Brewers are 29th...

And I might be able to tonight, but odds are it'll have to wait until I get home tomorrow

CARDINALS~!

Taveras is going to be so amazing. Hopefully his career ends up better than or equal to the guy he'll likely be replacing (Beltran). On the pitching side, Trevor Rosenthal is my favorite prospect. He throws some serious gas (101 mph!).

#30 should be the White Sox.

Where do the Red Sox rank? I'm not sure if they're any good or not when it comes to farm system.

The Astros should be top-10, I would think. At least in the lower levels where they've spent years trading for prospects.
