I find his voice much pleasant than someone like Collinsworth. Plus, he calls the World Series games, so I have a soft spot for that ('04 and '07

So, simple question today. What broadcasting guys have stuck out to you for one reason or another. I'd say my favorite is Joe Buck, but I can't stand Chris Collinsworth |

My favorite commentators are the Tigers local TV broadcasters, Mario Impemba and Rod Allen, and for national, I like Cris Collinsworth, Doc Emerick, and Matt Vasgersian. Also, Vin Scully and Bob Uecker are on the list. |

I thought he had tickets for Game 4. As for Joe Buck, other people can add on to this, but for one, he's a narcissist, and only likes the team that's leading at the moment. |

The #1 reason Joe Buck even has a job as a commentator is because his father was one. He has an annoying, monotonous voice, completely lacks enthusiasm, and spends most of his time stating the obvious. |

Al Michaels/Collinsworth team is good, plus the Phillies guys, Jon Miller (I guess he does the Orioles now, I remember him from MLB2K8), Vin Scully.. Also enjoy the Gruden/Tirico team for MNF, probably some others I'm forgetting.. |

I have to (half-biasedly) say that I've always loved Len Kasper and Bob Brenly (Cubs announcers). Their voices are easy to listen to, they give good commentary with a few jokes here and there, and they play off each other well. |

That's kind of an issue with not living near Boston. I don't get the enjoyment of local announcers. |
