So, this one has to deal with our smarts. What was your GPA last year? I think from what I've heard, most of us on here are pretty smart. So, let's see! I had a 3.9, I think. I had an A- first quarter in Art, then an A- fourth quarter in Computers, due to my "listening grade". ![]() Sorry about missing yesterday poll. ![]() |

Mine is low for sure, but then, GPA doesn't measure intelligence (and my SAT score pretty much balances the GPA out, in a way). What GPA measures is work ethic and things along that line, with a decent but flawed correlation with intelligence itself. Just pointing this out, especially because the OP assumes that GPA = brains. Don't you know how many "gifted" kids are total slackers? ![]() |

It may not be the "be all end all", but it's not like you can throw it out the window |

Since my education system doesn't use it, none. I don't even know any of the grades for last semester because the school is so disorganized I didn't get a report card. Or first semester because I don't memorize my grades. |

We go by a 5 point scale, for some reason, and I had a 4.08 for freshman year. I'm going to find out what it is now, including my sophomore grades, on Friday, so it'll go up. |

My school goes on a 4.0 scale for normal classes and 5.0 for Honors/AP classes. Last year I had a 4.43 GPA. That's 1 letter grade away from straight A's... I want those damn straight A's this semester. |

I have straight A's, and we don't have a GPA, but I'm guessing I'm 4+. |

Yeah, we score each test on a scale of 0-100. I normally get 95-100. |

But, wouldn't that always be the case, since your parents are teaching? |

No. Plus, only my mom teaches. My dad, you know, works. |
