We return back to baseball for this poll of the day, questioning you who you think will win the AL MVP award. So, drop a reply and vote!

I think it'll have to be Trout.

Adrian Beltre. He's having a killer year.

Casey Kotchman.

I know Francoeur should win, but he'll lose votes because he plays on the same team as Yuniesky Betancourt.

:picard: Really? We all know there's only four players with a real shot. Trout, Cabrera, Kotchman, and Scalabrine

Scalabrine retired though!

Should definitely be Cabrera. He could be the first player since the 60s (?) to win the Triple Crown.

Key word there Dish. Plus, you're completely biased

The more I think about it, the more I have no clue. I have serious reservations about it going to a player on a non-playoff team. And neither the Tigers or Angels are making it, even with he extra WC

It's so tough between Trout and Cabrera. Trout has provided more with his speed and defense but the production by Miggy is just ridiculous. It might just go to whoever makes the playoffs, and if they both do/don't, then I have no idea, it's a toss up.

I voted Trout though. It's just crazy that a guy his age could change the game in so many ways and it's really only his first season.

Trout is an obvious pick for the AL ROY, but he isn't qualified for the MVP in my opinion... yet.

Is he a rookie?

Why is everyone so sold on Trout?

No amount of defense or SB's can place him over a Triple Crown (if Miggy does get it).

Amen. The dude hasn't been on a 25-man roster for an entire season yet. If he puts up these same numbers next year, then I may be sold on him. But for right now, Miggy is the MVP. The Tigers wouldn't be on the doorstep of a playoff berth without him (1/2 game back now, hoping the Angels beat the tar out of the White Sox)
