Jersey Shore is the exception. Not the rule.

Tornado Alley is a central time zone thing. I know in the northeast we have a pretty much safe from natural disasters. The southeast gets hurricanes, but still.

Eastern time zone is second to none.

Irene pissed me off so bad. Everyone was panicking and NOTHING happened. Down south it was bad. Just like tornado alley. Lol, poor southerners.
