So, there is a big debate. Who is better Barry Bonds or the Bambino. The Babe hit 715 HRs over his many years playing. He played in an era where HRs were unlikely, but the same age of high batting averages. He was also one of the best pitchers at his time. Barry Bonds hit 762 HRs over his 22 years of playing. He played in an era where HRs were likely, but took steroids so his career is very controversial. So who is the best player of all time. |

Bonds had speed also Bonds managed to stay head and shoulders above the league in power, despite HRs being common at the time Bonds posted some of the most absurd OBP rates of all time and likely would have continued to if teams had employed him into his 40s Babe did not enjoy such longevity unfortunately |
