I like LineDrives (for obvious reasons) and Blackjacks, but I'm gonna wait to cast my vote until a few others have come in and done so I'd also like to suggest that whoever's name suggestion wins gets first dibs on creating a uniform design |

Jacksonville Sunshowers will be a proposed name for the second expansion team. This team plays in Las Vegas, therefore I assumed you were not suggesting a name for them. |

Well, we only got five votes, and that means that I was the deciding vote. So. I'll make it more interesting. I'm going to have the Linedrives and Blackjacks play a best of seven series. Winner lives on. Results to be posted. |

More votes came in after my last post, but I had decided on a playoff already and it seemed fair to me. Here are the results Gm One: Liners 2, Jacks 0 Gm Two: Liners 2, Jacks 0 Gm Three: Jacks 4, Liners 3 Gm Four: Jacks 3, Liners 2 Gm Five: Jacks 2, Liners 1 Gm Six: Liners 6, Jacks 2 Gm Seven: Jacks 8, Liners 5 Jacks win Series 4 to 3. So the Carquinez Pirates become the Las Vegas Blackjacks. Next up is a vote on the name of the second expansion team. Since the Linedrives got love in this round, they will be one of the proposed names for the other team. |
