No duh a LOT of people watch football in America. I just found both of your statements to be basisless and probably hyperbolic, unless you show me a real stat that says that 90% of men or 90% of people in America watch the sport or whatever.

Of course they were hyperboles! Although, it was estimated that about 166.8 million people watched at least some of last years Super Bowl, more than half the population

Although some people might've watched it for the commercials. But still a LOT of people watch football. Therefore the argument is baseless.

Just saying, 50-55% isn't almost everyone in America, some people just watch it for the commercials, and there very well is probably a number of those who watch the Super Bowl and no other NFL games.

In other news, inb4 a blown call decides a game this week and people b**** and complain like heck.

Well damn S-Jax. I guess we should just go around correcting everyone here who's even been wrong. Why don't we do that?

Yeah, and you can keep going around making a big deal about small things like this!

I do hope that severe poetic justice hits the Seahawks this week. Not in small part because they've got da Rams up on the schedule, but still, after last week's tragic ending, they need to get knocked back down IMO. No offense to the team, but... yeah.

*Sigh* Blame the refs. Not the Seahawks. Otherwise, please explain the shame in playing hard and trying to win a football game.

Again, I admit, a good part is bias just because I'm stupid and young and a fan of the team they're going against this week. And I hyperbolized. And we very well may get our asses handed to us. And for a comment like that, I deserve it, perhaps.

Still, it was a wretched call on two parts, one of which was the offensive pass interference (as in, absolutely the player's fault), and it essentially epitomizes a sorry beginning to the season that has every team fighting more than just the squad across the line of scrimmage, which in turn causes teams in general to end up in situations where blatant fouls are missed, calls are blown, and teams getting undeserved wins and losses.

But, yes, I'm a biased @$$h0!3 at times, and I'm sorry for that.

I don't blame them for that, but the fact that they're smiling and all happy after everyone clearly saw that it should have been a penalty and an interception disgusts me. And that one call and one win could change the whole season for both teams.

If that opinion makes me an @$$h013 too, then so be it.

AP -- The Seattle Seahawks would like to apologize to stevenjackson39 and philliesfan134 for not exuding sheepish facial expressions following their hard-fought Monday night game against the Green Bay Packers.

I never said that they didn't fight hard for the win. I'm saying that the game-winning interception was bogus and that they shouldn't have gotten an extra 1 in the W column. And no, it's not like the Packers didn't fight hard either.

AP -- New reports reveal that the entire Seattle Seahawks football team was to be executed by firing squad should they have lost their Monday Night Football showdown against the Green Bay Packers last Monday. This clearly explains why the Seahawks apparently played "like their lives depended on it," especially compared to the lazy, 2011 Super Bowl Champion Packers.
