Also, if I could vote, I'd go Obama. At this point, I'm so jaded by it all, I just want to see the ads end (living in a dead-heat swing state SUCKS) and my ultra-conservative friend crying on Wednesday.

I don't think either candidate is going to do any good. I wouldn't vote even if I had the option.

I'm going to say this: people who expected everything to be fixed in Obama's 4 years are idiots. There is no way in hell it only takes 4 years to fix an entire country with all the problems we faced. Hell, it took almost a decade to get into the mess in the first place, no way it takes just a couple years to drag ourselves out. If Obama gets re-elected, four more years could see a lot more of the upswing of the economy (because, y'know, the economy does work in cycles, and we just happened to get ourselves in a lower low than the past few downswings) and could have Obama getting a lot more credit... even with the fact that the House of Reps currently hates him.

Don't know if you're a South Park fan at all, but the episode about the 2008 election captures pretty well the overreaction of both the winning and losing candidate's supporters (ignoring the Ocean's Eleven part )

There was a voting machine in Pennsylvania that would select Romney whenever the voter tried to choose Obama. So apparently the Simpsons can predict the future.
