Power Pros Forum

Today's poll is on the topic of what all brought us together here. The question: Do you still actively play Power Pros? What I mean by actively, is that it can't be you started a Success guy this weekend, but that was the first time you've played in a month. So, whether it be '07, '08, or one of the Japanese games, please vote! Also, feel free to tell us what you are doing right now, if you are still playing. Are you in the middle of a roster over-haul? Or 5 years into a season with an expansion team? Or other?

I am not an active player any more. I do kinda have an urge to make a second baseman, so then I'll have enough Success players to divide them into 2 teams, and then put those two in a season. I don't know though... And yes, Alex Gordon is the only successful 2nd baseman I have made.

Of frickin course I still play. I'm in a season mode right now with an expansion team. I'm in my third year and in our inaugural season we went 91-71 and lost in the ALDS. Our second year, we went 93-69 winning the division but we got eliminated in the ALDS again.

Obviously I still play Power Pros. I make a few success guys every other week but Success has gotten kinda boring. I am also very interested in getting JPPY but I don't think my parents would let me.

Yeah, I think I might go start up a season now. I just don't know what route to go. I don't like expansion teams. I think I might finish that 2nd baseman, then split up my Success guys onto 2 teams. See who is better in a season.

I play the Japanese games all the time, but I haven't touched the American ones in months

I still play it a lot and updating the rosters and then going into Season Mode with them keeps me going.
I have a season with my expansion team going right now.

Plus I haven't made enough players in Success yet to be bored of it.

I'm currently working on getting my 2013 roster update set up so I'll have it ready when the MLB season starts next year

Hell yeah! I play daily. Though I am getting sick of success mode cause I have been playing it a week straight(its gotten so bad I forgot how to field D:) But yeah I play alot and I doubt it will get old. Sure you take a break every once in a while, but overall its a great game. (I've owned it since '09)

probably play way too much for an old dude. but, me and a buddy play with a 32 team universe almost completly fictional, edited players, plus about 100 or so success guys. also have been doing more success pitchers so i can figure out what the best original pitch is. I really like the Original DropCurve(the SSK) i gave to Strasburg, but the original KnuckelCurve is dope too. go go powerpros.

Yeah. Right now I'm on a break from it, but the game is just to good to stay away from.

I picked the third option - Power Pros is the kind of game I can come back to, but NCAA Football/Madden/whatever else aren't, because roster updates only come out for ONE year or so, while PP allows for infinite updates through Success mode.

I chose the third because I'm the kind of person who hates seeing really outdated rosters in sports games, and I'm way too lazy to update the rosters by editing every single player.
