Because I'm starting to see a lot of "midseason awards" articles around the baseball-sphere, I want to know what your candidates for the different awards at the midway point of the MLB season. Here are mine, what are yours?

AL:

MVP: Victor Martinez (Yes, I'm biased, yes I know he's a DH, but he's slightly better than Cabrera and Trout at this point, IMO, and that's saying something.)
Cy Young: Masahiro Tanaka
ROTY: Jose Abreu

NL:

MVP: Troy Tulowitzki or Giancarlo Stanton (it's a close race)
Cy Young: Johnny Cueto
ROTY: Chris Owings

AL:

MVP- Miguel Cabrera, CY- Felix Hernandez, ROTY- Jose Abreu

NL:

MVP- Giancarlo Stanton, CY- Adam Wainwright, ROTY- Chris Owings

Who I think will actually win at the end of the season:

AL:

MVP- Mike Trout, CY- Hernandez, ROTY- Abreu

NL:

MVP - Andrew McCutchen, CY- Wainwright, ROTY- Gregory Polanco

AL MVP: Mike Trout
AL Cy Young: Felix Hernandez
AL ROY: Jose Abreu

NL MVP: Giancarlo Stanton
AL Cy Young: Adam Wainwright
AL ROY: Gregory Polanco

And lol at V-Mart

What AL team are Wainwright and Polanco going to win these awards with? And why doesn't anyone get to win the NL Cy Young or ROTY?

Well you see, when the Astros switched leagues, they ruined the competitive balance of the awards. To even it out, Waino and Polanco became honorary AL players in an attempt the even everything out. Despite playing for "NL" teams, any accomplishments reflects upon the American League, which makes it look nicer to all 7 of those suffering Astros fans.

Duh

I really hope Trout wins MVP this year

He should've won at least one of the last two
