I will not be getting the show, but I will probably get mlb slugfest 04, and perhaps buy mlbpp07 and 08 again (I have really bad luck with games getting broken and such).

It's pretty good. Training is now done on a player-by-player basis, and they completely revamped scouting, which is also done on somewhat of a player-by-player basis. I find both of these to be improvements.

I haven't reached the offseason yet, but one thing I've heard about is dynamic budgets. If you do well, you get more cash to spend the next year, and if you do poorly, you get less. No more letting hundreds of millions of dollars rot in the bank while your stars are signed away by the Yankees.
