The Blue Jays bats came alive today scoring 14 runs. Julio Tehran also pitched a complete game shutout having giving up 4 hits and a walk and striking out 15.

Colby Rasmus injured sent to 15-day DL
Date: April 3, 2015
Colby Rasmus was injured in the 1-0 loss to the Indians. He has a strained Oblique and Anthony Gose was sent up to fill his position.
The GM says, "He will be a big loss for the start of the season."

Melky Cabrera off of 15-day DL
Melky Cabrera is off the 15-day DL and Kevin Pillar was to be sent down for less spots in the roster.

Phil Hughes pitches a great start, Blue Jays win 7-4
Phil Hughes pitches 7 innings and only giving up 2 hits, 3 ER, 3 R, and 3 walks and struck out 5. Most of the runs came from a Jarrod Saltalamachia homer after a walk. Jose Reyes led the team to victory going 2-5 scoring a run batting in 2 striking out once and stealing a bag and hitting a homer.
Anthoy Gose was sent down for Mel Castro.

Sergio Santos Injured, Blue Jays win 6-2
Sergio Santos threw 30 pitches and had a freak injury of a UCL tear. HE will not be playing again this year. Dustin Mcgowen pitched 5.2 Innings only giving up 5 hits, 1 run and earned run and struck out 6. THe only run came from a Castelones.
