Here's my attempt at a Brewers OOTP16 log. Don't hold me to sticking to this.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My goals from owner Mark Attanasio this year are:
Image
We ought to be able to hover around .500. Now I'm not a huge Khris Davis hater, but I guess we're supposed to find someone better than him. We'll see what happens. I like Gomez too so I have no issue signing him long term. And 5 years is a long time, so we don't really have to worry about that yet. But of course the goal is to win.

Pitching
Our pitching will probably struggle.

Depth Chart
We've got some solid players offensively, hopefully the likes of Braun, Gomez, and Lucroy can provide the star power to carry us.

OOTP logs are always fun.

Must be strange to see the Brew Crew down at the bottom with my Phils. :)

It wasn't the best start to the season, losing 2 out of 3 to the Rockies at home. The offense struggled in the 2 games we lost. Garza pitched well however, and took a no-hitter into the 6th inning of his start. On April 6th, I fired our(now former) bench coach Jerry Narron, and hired Jose Pina to take his place on a 3 year, $400,000 per year deal.

League News
April 8: Dodgers send 3B Juan Uribe to the Braves for LHP Luis Avilan and minor-league RHP Mauricio Cabrera.

Hope that means you're following. :)

Yesss, they've been awful and it makes baseball very boring when your favorite team is sucking it up.

following as well

how are you doing games? I like to manage ("play") games because it gives me more control over everything but I think most people prefer to sim

also, you might want to put someone as your backup 2B

Thanks. :)

I'm not sure what to call it, but I play the games, except I turn the managing over to the computer, and then I just simulate with the "Until RISP" button, half an inning at a time. So unless someone hits a solo homer or a homer with a runner on first, I watch the scoring happen. So I guess I sim the whole game, but I do it in pieces and watch the interesting pieces. :)

Yeah I'll prolly throw Hector Gomez in there when I get home. good catch.

Quite interesting OOTP, BrewersFuzz. Do you plan to trade for prince fielder? All the time I play a franchise Mode, I trade for a player that played there before. Don't know why I do that.

Trade Kyle lohse, kris Davis, and some extra payroll. When I play a franchise mode, I take off payroll issue(so I can spend big time) and turn on force trades.
