BREAKING NEWS

Major League Baseball has decided to completely relaunch itself. Every team from the MLB and its minor-league system has been disbanded and in its place sixteen teams -- eight from the United States and eight from Canada -- will form along with Triple-A affiliates. The teams will take part in a draft including all major and minor league players and free agents in addition to some college and high school players on January 1, 2015. Spring Training will start on March 6 and Opening Day will be April 10.

The teams and divisions are as follows:

US League

Division A: Houston Frackers, New York Taxis, Miami Beach, Boston Chowder
Division B: Las Vegas Payouts, San Diego Quakes, Chicago Gusts, Los Angeles Palms

Canadian League

Poutine Division: Toronto Helldogs, Mississauga Wave Riders, Montreal 14ers, Edmonton Spuds
Maple Division: Alberta Diamond, Saskatchewan Hooks, Hamilton Penmen, Flin Flon Miners

I am taking control of the San Diego Quakes and will fulfill the duties of both the General Manager and the field manager (or "GM" and "manager", respectively.)

Draft results coming soon!

I don't know what's funnier. Billy Hamilton being picked 2nd, or your catchers

I have no clue why Hamilton went second.

And hey, at least I've got Hedges, McGuire, and Reetz down on the farm, one of them could definitely get the call if Conger/Phegley are struggling or if they're just absolutely raking it down at AAA.

I definitely regret not drafting more good SP though, other teams have them stockpiled and I'm just stuck with guys like Feldman and Iglesias in the rotation. Apparently the hot strategy was to draft a ton of good SP and let all the relievers become free agents -- guys like Kenley Jansen and Dellin Betances are without a team right now, while Daniel Hudson and Nick Tropeano are listed as closers -- and I didn't pick up on that during the draft.

The Quakes have announced their finalized rotation plans, as well as planned bullpen usage and lineups.

Sonny Gray will start the opening game, followed by fellow right-handers Julio Teheran, Drew Hutchison and Raisel Iglesias. Right-hander Carter Capps and left-handers Brandon Finnegan and Chasen Shreve will pitch in middle relief. Southpaw Aroldis Chapman and righty Craig Kimbrel will be used as co-closers as well as in “stopper” roles, meaning they will typically come in late during tight games.

Mookie Betts will lead off and play shortstop, followed by Dustin Pedroia at second, Ryan Zimmerman at first, and Bryce Harper in right field. Will Middlebrooks will bat fifth and play third base. Jon Jay will start in left field and bat sixth, and Jake Marisnick will follow him hitting seventh and manning center. Hank Conger and Josh Phegley will rotate behind the dish and bat eighth. Matt Duffy and Delino DeShields Jr. will be used off the bench to keep starters fresh and to pinch-hit. Against lefties, Marisnick will bat sixth, Conger/Phegley will bat seventh, and Jay will bat eighth.

Next up, we’ll take a look at how the rest of the league sizes up.

Frack the Frackers.

Like I said, I've got a strong trio of catching prospects, and Conger and Phegley aren't horrible fill-in options for the meantime.

The game had somehow messed up and played games with the reserve rosters (I added an AA league for that, but told it not to play any games) so I was trying to delete that.

Apparently though, if you click on "delete league history", it deletes the entire history of ALL the leagues

so yeah :/
