Former MLB Great hired as Senators GM Washington -- Your Washington Senators have just made a big hiring. They have hired MLB great, Jeff Bagwell, to act as General Manager for the Washington Senators. Here was Bagwell's analysis on the skill of the team. "Our team obviously has little to no talent as we didn't have a wide draft pool. There are some players with solid potential though like d'Arnaud and Flaherty. Hopefully, come 2017 this team can be putting up a winning record!" He also said "I'm very honored to be working for the fans of Washington. We have several questions to resolve, and a wholesale team assessment to perform, along with tome constraints to consider. Baseball is a year-round job these days, and I'm fortunate to be working with the Senators ownership." |

Senators offer 3 contracts to veterans, place 2 on DL Washington -- The Washington Senators are reportedly in talks with Roy Oswalt, Jack Wilson, and Scott Rolen, making contract offers. Chase d'Arnaud and Edwar Cabrera were also place on the 60-Day DL retroactive to 3/30. CL Brent Leach, and 3B Vincent Catricala were called up to replace the two placed on the DL. |

How did those trades go through? Usually teams can't trade straight one-star for four-star guys like that... |

Agent's log got off to a bad start due to trades, and somehow this is even worse. You're trading total scrubs for solid players |
