I was actually thinking "Kelly kinda sucks" in one of his at-bats since he usually doesn't do much except get a single or two in a game, I think he was 1-3 or 1-4 with just a bunt single at that point, but then he hit a home run, so I guess he's fine.

Recycled Drabek for collection purposes, completing the "Second Generation Players" and giving me a needed 10 million to fund my future plans for the team.

Activated Felix Hernandez because otherwise it would be Humber to start this next game. I chose Hernandez for the purpose of confusing both myself and any readers.

---

Season 10, Game 4:

Boston Bruins (2-1) at Seattle Mariners

Bruins: 4
Mariners: 2

Felix Hernandez pitched for both teams to start the game, he did a little bit better for the Bruins, and that was the key in this close game. Kelly got another home run to extend his streak, and he was caught stealing home on an intended hit-and-run play.

Player of the Game: Chris Kelly

Kelly: 2-3, HR, 2 R, RBI, BB, SB
Suzuki: 2-4, 2B, 2 RBI
Cano: 1-4, 2 K
Cabrera: 0-4
Hamilton: 0-4, 2 K
Gonzalez: 2-4, HR, R, RBI
Posey: 1-4, K
Howard: 0-3, K
Phillips: 1-3, R

F.Hernandez: 7 innings pitched, 4 hits, 2 runs, 5 strikeouts, win
J.Johnson: 1 inning pitched, 1 hit, 0 runs, 1 strikeout, hold
P.Bergeron: 1 inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 2 strikeouts, save

Win: Felix Hernandez (1-0)
Loss: Felix Hernandez (0-1)
Save: Patrice Bergeron (3)
HR: C.Kelly, A.Gonzalez, J.Smoak, M.Saunders

---

Definitely seems like the attribute ratings are pretty meaningless in this game, Miguel Cabrera has some of the best hitting stats I've ever seen, but his average is the worst I've had around that I can remember.

Season 10, Game 5:

Boston Bruins (3-1) at Houston Astros

Bruins: 9
Astros: 1

The Bruins starter Helix Fernandez pitched well in this start, and the patient offense was able to put up more than enough runs to get him the win by 8 runs. Chris Kelly made history again in this game, like when he was the first Bruin to steal third, in this game he became the first to hit an inside-the-park home run to extend his home run streak.

Player of the Game: Helix Fernandez

Kelly: 1-4, HR, R, RBI
Suzuki: 0-4
Cano: 1-3, R, BB, K
Cabrera: 2-4, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, K
Hamilton: 2-4, R, K
Gonzalez: 0-4, K
Posey: 1-4, R, 2 RBI, 2 K
Howard: 1-4, 2B, R, RBI, K
Phillips: 1-4, HR, 2 R, RBI, K

H.Fernandez: 7 innings pitched, 4 hits, 1 run, 8 strikeouts, win
G.Balfour: 1 inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 strikeouts
J.Johnson: 1 inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 2 strikeouts

Win: Helix Fernandez (1-0)
Loss: Bud Norris (0-1)
HR: C.Kelly, M.Cabrera, B.Phillips

---

Retirements look something like this:

Robinson Cano
Adrian Gonzalez
Ryan Howard
Jim Johnson
Grant Balfour

Season 11, Game 1:

Chicago Cubs at Boston Bruins

Cubs: 1
Bruins: 3

The Bruins came out on top against the Cubs in a low-scoring pitcher's duel, not what you would expect with the Bruins offensive lineup, but their bullpen is always solid and their starters are sometimes good. Miguel Cabrera provided the offense with 2 solo home runs and Chris Kelly got one as well to extend his home run streak further.

Player of the Game: Miguel Cabrera

Kelly: 1-3, HR, R, RBI, K

That's a pretty solid bullpen, 4 innings with no hits and 7 strikeouts.

Also, I wasn't keeping track before, but Bergeron may already have the team record for saves.

And I suppose Dempster retired.

Season 11, Game 3:

Pittsburgh Pirates at Boston Bruins (2-0)

Pirates: 12
Bruins: 7

The Bruins played a very interesting game, to say the least. Miguel Cabrera's fielding antics allowed 7 runs the Pirates scored and the Bruins temper flared from there. They began tackling umpires who called the Pirates runners safe, Posey began charging towards Cabrera at third on every bounced pitch, and their pitchers started hitting batters for things like "hitting a home run" or "fouling off too many pitches". Cliff Lee was ejected in the 5th inning which would have been long over if not for Cabrera, because of intentionally hitting a batter who had a home run his last at-bat.

Will Grantham was brought in for his first game replacing Lee, and he was also ejected not much longer, after hitting a batter and causing a brawl. The Bruins were down big at that point in the game, somewhere along the lines Gaby Sanchez hit a grand slam and the Pirates lead 12-3. The Bruins scored a couple runs in the 7th to make it 12-5, and in the 9th, they scored some intriguing runs.

Their leadoff batters got on base, and one of them scored on a groundout, later, runners advanced to second and third on several defensive indifference steals of second and Braun stood at third, 2 outs in the inning, and Melancon threw a pitch way inside that Ichiro jumped out of the way of and the catcher missed badly. Braun came in from third and beat the tag to score on the wild pitch, in his celebration, he turned and punched Russel Martin squarely in the chest. He would later claim this was an accident as he was celebrating his run scored, but would he really need to do such a hard fist pump for scoring a run to make it a 12-7 deficit? Angry Pirates fans everywhere believe that isn't the case, and the Pirates organization made a public declaration that they would be unwilling to play the Bruins anytime in the near future.

The Bruins hit an astonishing 6 batters in this game, including Andrew McCutchen twice.

Player of the Game: Gaby Sanchez, 2-4, 2B, HR, 2 R, 5 RBI, HBP

Kelly: 0-4, R, RBI, BB, 2 K
Braun: 2-5, HR, 2 R, RBI, 2 K
Pujols: 1-5, 2 K
Cabrera: 2-5, R, RBI
Hamilton: 1-5, R, K
Suzuki: 2-5, K
Posey: 2-4, R
Phillips: 2-3, 2 2B, R, 3 RBI, BB
Utley: 0-4

W.Grantham: 0.2 innings pitched, 2 hits, 4 runs
K.Hanson: 4 innings pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 6 strikeouts

Win: A.J. Burnett (1-0)
Loss: Cliff Lee (0-1)
HR: R.Braun, A.McCutchen, G.Sanchez, R.Martin

Activated Wainwright, completing the 200 Draft Class collection.

---

Season 11, Game 4

Boston Bruins (2-1) at Oakland Athletics

Bruins: 5
Athletics: 2

The Bruins got a good 6 innings out of their starter, and with their bullpen that's all they ask for. Posey somehow stole third on a missed hit and run attempt.

Player of the Game: Adam Wainwright

Kelly: 2-5, 2B, 3 RBI, 2 K
Hamilton: 0-4
Pujols: 1-4, 2 K
Braun: 2-3, 3B, R, BB, K
Cabrera: 0-4, 3 K
Suzuki: 0-3, BB
Posey: 2-3, 2 R, RBI, HBP, SB

Utley: 0-3, R, BB, 2 K

E: B.Phillips (2)

A.Wainwright: 6 innings pitched, 4 hits, 2 runs, 1 earned run, 5 strikeouts, win
J.Axford: 1 inning pitched, 1 hit, 0 runs, 1 strikeout, hold
C.Kimbrel: 1 inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 1 strikeout, hold

Win: Adam Wainwright (1-0)
Loss: Brett Anderson (0-1)
Save: Patrice Bergeron (6)
HR: J.Jaso

Pitching with Bergeron is fun, he can throw a slider in the 90s, and one of his fastballs can reach 102.

Miguel Cabrera
Ichiro Suzuki

From this point, due to lack of interest I won't be bothering to keep updates on which new players I'm adding and who's being replaced. If anyone cares they can try to figure it out by looking at the lineups.

Changes have been made to the entire lineup in preparation of playing with NL rules, I completed the Red Sox collection worth 25 million upon activating Napoli, as well as Middlebrooks and Saltalamacchia as bench players.

The other players that haven't retired yet will be brought back at some point.

---

Season 12, Game 1:

Boston Bruins at Chicago Cubs

Bruins: 5
Cubs: 1

A good pitching performance by the Bruins led them to the win against the Cubs today, as they didn't allow even a single earned run in the whole game. The first Ben Zobrist's first home run was a three run home run which gave them all the offense they would need.

Player of the Game: Felix Hernandez

Trout: 1-3, 2B, BB, K, SB
Trout: 0-4, 2 K
Trout: 1-4, HR, R, RBI, K
Napoli: 1-3, R, BB
Napoli: 3-4, 2B, R, K
Crawford: 0-0, CS
Saltalamacchia: 0-0
Zobrist: 2-4, 2 HR, 2 R, 4 RBI, K
Zobrist: 0-4, K
Zobrist: 0-4, K
Hernandez: 0-2, K
Middlebrooks: 0-1, K
Axford: 0-0
Kimbrel: 0-0
Bergeron: 0-0

E: B.Zobrist

F.Hernandez: 6 innings pitched, 5 hits, 1 run, 0 earned runs, 1 walk, 10 strikeouts, win
J.Axford: 1 inning pitched, 2 hits, 0 runs, 1 strikeout, hold
C.Kimbrel: 1 inning pitched, 1 hit, 0 runs, 1 strikeout, hold
P.Bergeron: 1 inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 0 strikeouts

Win: Felix Hernandez (3-0)
Loss: Matt Garza (0-1)
HR: M.Trout, B.Zobrist (2)

---

NL games are much more of a pain to keep the box scores of, they have around twice as many players listed in the lineup.

Lineup changes because it was extremely annoying trying to figure out which Trout had the home run and which had the stolen base, etc...

---

Season 12, Game 3

Boston Bruins (2-0) at Colorado Rockies

Bruins: 11
Rockies: 3

Dougie Hamilton finally broke his streak of what felt like thousands of games without a home run, as he hit his 12th, which is probably the team record.

Player of the Game: Adam Wainwright

Kelly: 2-5, R, RBI, SB
Jeter: 1-5, R, RBI

---

A bit concerning that Bergeron allowed 3 runs, but I saw the game and I can say with 100% certainty that every one of those runs came because of bad fielding plays I had no control over.

The Bruins won a low-scoring game, surprisingly, as Cliff Lee was pitching and he never did well before. Ben Zobrist had another couple home runs, getting up to 6 in 4 games. Every run in this game was scored off of a solo home run.

Boston Bruins (4-0) at Milwaukee Brewers

The Bruins pitching did very well as they combined for a shutout against the Brewers. Helix Fernandez went 7 innings getting 11 strikeouts and allowing no runs. Bergeron won the save achievement by getting his 10th save of his career. Jeter had an RBI sacrifice fly in the 6th that looked like it would be the only offense, but Hamilton with 2 outs in the 9th just barely managed to hit a 2 run home run.

After that game, Fernandez's ERA dropped to 0.80, while Bergeron's is now 2.00.

Season 13, Game 1:

St.Louis Cardinals at Boston Bruins

Cardinals: 7
Bruins: 6

A completely moronic game all the way through, the Cardinals scored 7 runs in a single inning as the Bruins fielders refused to charge the ground balls and the first baseman refused to stay on first base, then with 1 out, Jeter missed an easy double play ball and they followed it with a 3 run home run that made the difference in the end. Kelly had a 2 run inside the park home run. The Cardinals somehow had 5 errors compared to the Bruins 0, if you didn't see the game you might think the Bruins had a better game in the field, which isn't even close to the truth.

Player of the Game: Matt Holliday, 1-5, HR, R, 3 RBI

Kelly: 2-4, HR, 3 RBI, BB
Jeter: 0-5
Trout: 2-4, R
Hamilton: 2-4, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, SB
Napoli: 1-3, BB
Rodriguez: 0-4, K
Davis: 2-4, R
Ruiz: 0-4, R
Zobrist: 1-4, 2B, K

A.Wainwright: 5 innings pitched, 13 hits, 7 runs, 10 strikeouts, loss
Z.Duke: 1 inning pitched, 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 strikeouts
W.Grantham: 0.2 innings pitched, 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 strikeouts
J.Papelbon: 1.1 innings pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 2 strikeouts
D.Storen: 1 inning pitched, 0 hits, 0 runs, 2 strikeouts

Win: Adam Wainwright (1-0)
Loss: Adam Wainwright (2-1)
Save: Jason Motte
HR: C.Kelly, D.Hamilton, M.Holliday

---

Thurman King retired.

Jeter kicked off the team immediately for having the hugest hand in blowing the game and not being able to hit at all in any situation.
