That's all you got for Freddie Freeman? You should resign as GM ASAP

Teheran's Gem, Alvarez's Homer, start Braves off well
April 2nd, 2017

Atlanta -- The Braves suspect offense looked surprisingly good tonight in their opening day win over the Cleveland Indians and former Cy Young, Corey Kluber. The offense didn't get going until the 4th however, aside from 2 singles by Ender Inciarte. In the 4th, Chris Coghlan singled, and Pedro Alvarez doubled to score Coghlan and get a rally going and Tyler Flowers singled home Alvarez and Grant Green after a single by Green. In the fifth, Alvarez tacked on another run with a solo homer, making it 4-1.

Julio Teheran's pitching tonight was great as well, enabling the Braves to only have to score a small amount of runs and still win. Teheran dealt 7 strong innings, allowing only 3 hits and 2 walks and a run, striking out 5. Arodys Vizcaino came in out of pen in the eighth to pitch a scoreless inning. Ryan Madson came in to save the game successfully in the 9th.
