It was my first day at Powerful High School, my 3 best friends Garrett, Alberto, and Marco has just transferred with me from Brookside Academy because the baseball team disbanded.

I hung out with my three amigos before school and then went to my classes. I met this odd kid named Marvin that started calling Garrett chief. I don't know why, but he did. He also told us that baseball was starting on the 3rd of February. He was supposed to be the starting Center Fielder.

After school Garrett and I grabbed ice cream with 31 Flavors and headed home.

It was my first day as a freshman at Powerful High School. My friend Alberto and I had both just transferred from Brookside Academy, as their baseball team ajd just disbanded.

Alberto and I carpooled to school, it was January 6th, the first day of the second semester, so we couldn't walk to school in the 24 F weather.

Alberto and I had all of our classes together so we hung out the whole day. We also met a kid named Peter that said he is trying out for the baseball team. He informed us that conditioning started on Monday, the 3rd, of February.

I went home after school and was bored.

The day was January 6th, 2014, the first day of the second semester. I was at a new school now, luckily with one of my old friends, Marco Kennedy. All I could think about during the night was, new friends, girls, new schedule. I was nervous.

Marco and I carpooled to school in my mom's 2009 Chevy Camaro. When we got there we met a kid named Peter that claimed he plays second base for the team. There was also a sophomore we met named Toby that is apparently the number 1 high school prospect pitcher. That's a load of bullcrap. I bet I can pitch way better than him.

I called Marvin and we hung out. He said that we should go doorbell ditching and I agreed knowing I would be leaving him in the dust. He thinks he is faster than me.

The first house was casual. We rung the doorbell and ditched, no one was there. At the next house, there was a police car in front. Marvin wanted to ring it anyway, so he rung it. I booked it away from the house as soon as he rung the doorbell while Marvin fell on his face as he tripped going down the 2nd step.

All I heard was "Wait up Ch- oof..."

I went home and went to sleep. The next morning school was boring as usual.

It was February 3rd, the first day of conditioning after school. Marvin had just got his cast off in time to start baseball. I was apparently responsible for his sprained wrist. I didn't think so.

We started out with some sprints, I was at the front of the pack when running, I was proud of myself, and the coach was too.
